Please contact us if you would like to visit the farm to meet us and our dogs. Also, if you are so inclined, please scroll to the bottom right corner of the page to find our YouTube link, where you’ll be able to see videos of some of our past litters, as well as these puppies when the big day arrives! As always, take our corny videos with a grain of salt, please! They are up so that you can get a bit of a feel for our place, our family, and our dogs, because I hope that it’s helpful, but they are full of fumbles, interruptions, dogs being dogs, and children being children! It has taken me a long time to accept the inevitable conclusion that if I insisted on them being Oscar quality, I’d never get any posted.

Final pricing will be set on puppies around the 5-6 week mark, right before we begin showing them in person. The first showing/picking date for these pups will likely be the first week of August, with puppies preparing to leave for new homes sometime in the August 14 – August 28 time frame.

Our “picks” of the litter, as one might expect, most exemplify the aesthetic standard for which we are striving and begin at $3000, based on their particular attributes. We prize facial blazes and mitts, and a slightly heavier build, more reminiscent of the Bernese mountain dog than the finer-boned poodle. We also take into account the bernedoodle market at the time, as well as supply and demand; color, size, gender, and coat consistency all come into play when considering what people want versus what I have to offer in each litter. Merle and traditional tri-color pups tend to be more expensive, as they are more often sought-after. A number of families prioritize a double-curl coat to provide more reliable protection against shedding. After the picks are identified, I price the remaining puppies according to their attributes at intervals along a spectrum with my lowest priced puppies averaging around $1800. So, I try to have an array of pricing options to suit a variety of desired price points, particularly if someone just wants a healthy, well-adjusted pet and is agreeable to bending on color, coat, markings, and gender. My priority is always to match puppies with loving, committed families at the most beneficial point in their development.

At any time, if you have questions, please don’t hesitate to call me. I’m generally pretty accessible and will do what I can to answer questions, or give feedback.

Thank you so much for your interest!

India and Murphy…June 2024

I am very pleased to announce that India and Murphy’s puppies have been confirmed and will be arriving the third week of June! This litter will be about half traditional black tri color and half sable, with the possibility of a couple of silvers, such as Indy. Based on the parental weights (36 and 48 pounds) I have a reasonable expectation that puppies will fall in the 35-50 pound range, making this the largest litter we have ever done, but I am so excited to see what this sire and dam can produce. Both have wonderful, mellow temperaments and great builds. These are multigenerational puppies (generations removed from the initial crosses between the poodle and Bernese). We generally prefer to produce “multigens,” as they are usually more predictable in terms of size, conformation, coat quality, and temperament. I’m anticipating that they will have gorgeous tuxedo markings, double furnishings, and will be an even mix of straight and wavy pups. Please see my parent dog page for bios on the sire and dam.
